Abstract:

Enterprise artificial Intelligence (AI) is a target state where every business process is AI-augmented and every employee is an AI beneficiary. Is that really attainable? And, if so, what is the path to get there? In this talk, Larry Orimoloye, Sales Engineer at Dataiku and PhD researcher at Southampton Business School, will share learnings from the industry, describing how companies of different sizes and across different sectors have begun this journey. Some are farther along than others, and by making the right decisions now and avoiding 'risks', you can supercharge your quest to this AI-fuelled future.

Larry Orimoloye,Larry has experience in the design and delivery of analytics solutions especially in Telecom, Technology, Oil and Gas, Pharma, Banking, Logistics among other sectors. He is interested in driving tangible business value by combining advance analytics using structured and unstructured data across all industries. He has experience using Bayesian and classical statistical methods including datamining techniques. Larry has a strong experience in open source software due to his consulting background. His focus is on helping clients deliver ROI utilizing a business-led, technology-enabled approach to analytics. In particular Larry has helped clients establish centres of excellence with an analytics remit across the organization, designed and implemented customer-centric real-time decision platforms using a combination of statistics, big data and machine learning techniques. Larry enjoys applying new analytics techniques to solving business problems. Larry holds a Masters degree in Applied Statistics & Datamining from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland. He was awarded a prize of £500 for building the best predictive model by Kaggle. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching football.
