I have enjoyed the experience of studying at Southampton, and have found many of the lecturers to be supportive, easy to access, and encouraging.

What were you anxious about before coming to here? Once at Southampton, how were your fears overcome?
I wondered how I would manage a joint honours degree around my wife, three children and work. Thankfully, the lectures and seminars were flexible and fit easily around these, and I found the lecturers to be very supportive and encouraging. I have really enjoyed my experience studying at Southampton.

What is it like studying here?
I have enjoyed the experience of studying at Southampton, and have found many of the lecturers to be supportive, easy to access, and encouraging.

What are you enjoying most about your course, and how has it helped you to grow as a person?
I like the breadth that doing a joint honours degree gives you. It is tough, and there is a lot of work, but the tow subjects complement each other well. The modules that I have studied within both criminology and psychology contribute greatly to my work as a sexual trauma therapist, because what I learn can then be used to help support and interact with clients.

How do you rate the study facilities at the University?
There are ample resources around campus. There are always food and drink places close by, the gym and swimming pool are spacious and there is lots of space for studying.
