Southampton Education School

Southampton Education School offers a full range of degrees and programmes from undergraduate, through PGCE and Masters to PhD, as well as professional development for in-service teachers.

We work in partnership with a range of organisations advancing policy and practice in education, teaching and learning around the world.

We provide support informed by the latest research through our Institute of Educational Effectiveness and Equity (IE3) and Institute of Professional Practice in Education (IPPE).

Undergraduate teaching

Our flexible BSc Education covers a range of topics and offers some work placement opportunities. The BSc Education and Psychology provides BPS accreditation.

PhD opportunities

Our research training is in line with ESRC guidelines and includes the support needed to help you achieve research work of the highest calibre.
