The CRR offers an exciting interdisciplinary research environment

Interdisciplinary research is the most exciting feature of CRR  because this helps me to analyse problems more comprehensively and also improves my research skills.

In CRR I receive supervision from experts with different professional backgrounds and I am encouraged to analyse the my topic from different perspectives. I received my bachelor’s degree in finance and was therefore more accustomed to analysing problems from a financial point of view before I entered CRR. But currently, I am guided to analyse and predict investors’ behaviour/performance using methods from a variety of disciplines, such as statistics and web science. This multi-disciplinary research environment not only helps me to study my research topic comprehensively, but also improves my personal research capabilities, such as critical thinking and data analysis skills dramatically.
In addition, CRR has established a great cooperative relationship with many leading universities and research institutions all over the world. Therefore, I can always gain a great number of opportunities and get access to suitable resources no matter where I plan to go for my future development.

Research interests: predict smartphone users' trading behaviour and performance with media-expressed sentiment.
