My research is centred on decompositions and exponent problems in homotopy theory, homotopy aspects of Toric Topology, Hopf algebras, and geometric problems related to cobordisms and string topology.
My work and teaching strive for an accurate and effective mathematical interpretation and understanding of the world around us, that will hopefully lead us to treat it better.
My work focuses on the optimisation of healthcare systems and the analysis of infectious disease models. I'm currently involved in projects on improving the operational efficiency of a local Emergency Department, to reduce waiting lists for cardiology procedures post-covid-19.
