Dr Hilda Hounkpatin is a Senior Research Fellow based in Primary Care, Population Sciences and Medical Eduction in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Southampton.
Qualifications
2011-2015: PhD Population Health, University of Manchester
2009-2010: MPH Public Health, Imperial College London
2006-2009: BSc (Hons) Biomedical Sciences, University of Surrey
Hilda completed a PhD in Population Health at the University of Manchester. Her PhD research focused on the role of psychological process in health and well-being. Prior to studying for a PhD, she completed a masters in Public Health and an undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences.
Hilda is currently a senior research fellow at the University of Southampton and her role involves using cohort studies and routine health care data to improve understanding of the epidemiology of long term health conditions, specifically chronic kidney disease.
