About
Dr Thalia Domínguez Bucio is a research fellow in the Silicon Photonics group at the University of Southampton. She recieved her BS degree in electronic and computer engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology (Mexico, 2012) and her MSc in photonic technologies from the University of Southampton (UK 2013). In 2018 she recieved her PhD in Optoelectronics for her thesis entitled "NH3-free PECVD Silicon Nitride for Photonic Applications" at the University of Southampton. Her research interests lie in the development of new material platforms, particularly silicon nitride, for photonic applications.
