A presentation on the implementation of new health technologies will be made at the annual congress on Thursday 12th March.

Dr Keith Cooper, Senior Research Fellow in Health Economics, will make an oral presentation to the annual congress at the Bournemouth International Centre on Thursday 12th March. The presentation, scheduled for the afternoon session (13.30 to 14.20), will focus on techniques for preserving deceased-donor kidneys for kidney transplantation and will compare the costs and benefits of cold-storage preservation to machine perfusion.

The aim of the congress is to bring together clinicians, surgeons, scientists, nurses, transplant coordinators and all those interested in all aspects of organ transplantation.

The conference runs until Friday 13th March and a varied programme of talks and posters will take place.
