Clearing 2026 is now open

If your grades are slightly below the requirements for your chosen course, we may still be able to accept your application, as we can be more flexible on some courses.

But please note that no medicine courses are available in Clearing.

Talk to our Clearing hotline

We'll be opening our Clearing hotline around A level results day on 13 August 2026. The lines will be open on:

  • Thursday 13 August from 8am to 9pm
  • Friday 14 August from 8am to 6pm

All opening hours are on UK time. We'll publish more details, including a telephone number on this page shortly before then.

Clearing 2026 events

If you receive an offer to study with us through Clearing, you'll have the opportunity to attend:

  • a virtual Clearing offer holder event on 14 August
  • an on campus Clearing open day on 15 August
