Q. Are the programmes available part-time?

A. The programmes are currently not available part-time, due to timetabling constraints.

Q. What level of mathematics is required by the programmes?

A. The maths will be about the level expected of a first year engineering, physics or chemistry undergraduate.

Q. What combination of industrial experience and alternative qualifications would meet the entry requirements of the course if I do not have a 2.1 degree in a numerate discipline?

A. A good A-Level or equivalent in mathematics, plus significant recent experience in a highly numerate engineering or scientific environment, in conjunction with a professional qualification such as IEng or EngTech.

Q. Are any scholarships available for the course?

A. There are currently no scholarships available for the course. Other sources of funding may be available to prospective students. Please see the Postgraduate funding page for details.
