"The MSc allowed me to better understand and appreciate the interrelation between the design, use and energy requirements of buildings and the local environment in which they are located. Hand calculations of energy requirements. MSc lectures often include working in groups and developing concepts through activities.
Exploring urban regeneration opportunities. Sustainable urban design principles and concepts are investigated through creative workshops.
Module review. Students reflect on the content covered in lectures through creative activities.
Active student participation. Students learn by "making".
Field trip. Field trips help students understand the issues discussed during lectures.
Group work. Students learn from one another, whilst being supported and guided.
