Civil Engineering

Civil engineering involves the planning, design and construction of structures, systems and infrastructure that positively support the future development of our society.

Civil engineers require a wide range of knowledge and skills from understanding hydraulics and soil mechanics to structural design and construction management.

Our Civil Engineering courses will equip you with a sound understanding of the fundamental principles and the ability and confidence to apply them to solve practical problems.

BEng Civil Engineering

BEng Civil Engineering (3 years)

Learn about structural mechanics, geotechnics, hydraulics, and construction management.  Apply your knowledge and develop the required skills to become a successful civil engineer.  

MEng Civil Engineering

MEng Civil Engineering (4 years)

Study a more extensive range of advanced civil engineering subjects in this four-year integrated masters.  Develop your design skills in a major group design project.
