Geography and Environmental Science at Southampton provides a dynamic window onto the changing natural and social environments that comprise our world. You will engage directly with key contemporary issues - such as globalisation, climate change, environmental management and cultural transformation - whilst also developing valuable analytical and communication skills.

Our programmes of study are each delivered by staff at the forefront of their respective fields. Our degrees are a passport to vocational and non-vocational careers alike, with recent graduates employed in fields ranging from environmental consultancy, financial services and market research through to local government, public policy and education.

In the National Student Survey 2018, 93% of BA Geography and BSc Geography students were satisfied or very satisfied with the overall quality of their course.

Environmental Science
