Accreditation

Many potential students have acquired considerable knowledge and skill through their professional work and may be able to provide evidence that they will be able to benefit from further studies.

Recognising experience

If you have previous experience, in a work or community setting, you may be eligible for Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL). This allows us to take into consideration all your relevant experience and qualifications. We can help you through the process at the time of your application.

Rewarding achievement

The majority of our teaching-oriented programmes reward you with not only an academic qualification but also the accreditation of either QTS (primary or secondary) or QTLS (post-compulsory). These allow you to work as a qualified teacher in maintained schools and colleges in England, and in many other situations as well.
