Environmental Geoscience is concerned with the effect of human activity on our planet and explores the interactions between the Earth’s surface, oceans and atmosphere. You’ll have the opportunity to take an inter-disciplinary approach to problem-solving which combines geology, geography, oceanography and environmental science.
The courses also offer you the freedom to specialise in a subject area of your choice in either terrestrial or marine sciences, covering topics such as terrestrial and marine pollution and environmental impact, environmental law and science policy, and Earth resource management.
Graduates from our Environmental Geoscience courses will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of industries and the courses prepare you for employment in areas such as: environmental surveying, research and consultancy, renewable energy, environmental planning, education and engineering.
