James is a Senior Research Assistant within the Centre for Clinical and Community Applications of Health Psychology (CCCAHP) at the University of Southampton.

I completed my BSc (Psychology w/ Neuroscience) and MSc (Foundations in Clinical Psychology) at the University of Sussex, graduating in 2014. Following a year acting as a voluntary research assistant with the Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust I moved to Bournemouth University to complete my PhD exploring a digital intervention to improve treatment uptake amongst individuals with eating disorders. I also have a background in web development and website design.

Research interests

My research interests include the delivery of healthcare support via digital interventions for a range of health outcomes and populations. I have a particular interest in engagement in relation to digital health interventions, as well as the role of design and aesthetics.
