Dr Judith Joseph is a Senior Public Involvement Advisor at Research Support Services, NIHR (National Institute for Health and Care Research).
Judith's role includes: advising on funders' requirements relating to Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement (PPIE), providing support and advice on PPIE approaches, and reviewing research applications.
Judith's research focusses on developing digital interventions using the Person-Based Approach, a methodology that combines Public and Patient Involvement and stakeholder co-production with mixed methods to create and optimise interventions to make them engaging, accessible, motivating and effective. She has extensive experience in developing digital interventions to support individuals to self-manage their health and improve their wellbeing.
