The most enjoyable element of my course is having guest speakers come in and hold interactive lectures. Learning from people who are currently in inspiring job roles is eye opening as to what I can potentially do in the future.

I chose to study at the University of Southampton because of the flexibility available within the degree programmes, as well as the option to complete a placement year. Furthermore, the university is part of the Russel Group and the business school has many contacts with big organisations.

Southampton is a great location and has a lively and uplifting atmosphere. Campus is also an energised place and the student community makes everyone feel welcome. My degree is exciting and relevant, and I can’t wait to apply the theory to the workplace.

Becoming a member of the BusSoc committee is one of my highlights so far, as being able to organise events for business students is exciting and rewarding, and I also play netball for the Business Society team. I’ve also been able to take part in the Business Innovation Programme is a great achievement, consulting a real business problem and providing solutions.
