Dr Sian Williamson BSc, MSc, PhD
Research Fellow

Sian Williamson is a Research Fellow within the Centre for Clinical and Community Applications of Health Psychology at the University of Southampton.
Sian is passionate about applying psychology to the ‘real world’ through research, in order to improve physical and mental health.
Sian has a background in Psychology, with a focus in Health Psychology. During her education, her dissertations and theses have focused on health behaviour including mindfulness, reducing cravings, the calorie labelling of alcohol and how results should be communicated in breast cancer screening. Sian also has experience of quantitative, qualitative and mixed-methods of research.
Sian is part of the Centre for Clinical and Community Applications of Health Psychology, which develops and evaluates digital behavioural interventions. She is currently working on the RECUR project.
