Professor Graham Packham

Graham Packham

Graham's group investigates the biology and treatment of common B-cell malignancies, including chronic lymphocytic leukaemia and follicular lymphoma. The growth of these cancers is critically dependent on interactions with the tumour microenvironment within the bone marrow and secondary lymphoid organs. A key aspect of our work is to understand how human stem cells and their differentiated progeny may promote development of these cancers, through effects on malignant cell survival and proliferation within these tissue sites.
