This module is for those Final Year History or Ancient History students also taking a Minor in a Language. You need to complete 60 credits' worth of your Language modules in order to qualify for the Minor. History does not operate 15 credit option modules in the second semester of the Final Year, so students 'backtrack' onto a Year 2 Semester 2 15 credit module. But, in order to qualify for one's degree, students also need to complete 90 credits' worth of Final Year modules in their final year. Taking this module allows you to do both. You will audit a Year 2 Semester 2 15 credit module - attend lectures and seminars - but enrol on the Final Year History Project module and complete assessments about the Year 2 module at a level appropriate for Final Year students. This will ensure you can fulfil your degree requirements and complete the Minor in which you're passionate.
