Module overview

This non-credit bearing module is an opportunity to explore a variety of themes relating to health, aiming to help you prioritise your wellbeing and raise awareness of how you can best look after it while at university. It will cover themes such as 'wellbeing and the brain', 'identity' and 'why failure is good', as well as more practical aspects like 'managing stress and anxiety', 'nutrition and exercise' and 'looking after your mate'. In addition to these weekly lectures, which draw on internal and external expertise, you will be asked to commit to an additional wellbeing activity each week, from weeks 6 - 12, introducing you to new skills that can also have a positive impact on your wellbeing.
