Module overview

NATS students taking a single CHEM module in Year1 semester 2 may not take the 0 CP practical module (CHEM1056) for the semester. However, CHEM1056 provides marks into each of the three theory modules run by chemistry in semester 2 year 1. To provide additional practical knowledge and marks for NATS students taking a single CHEM module in semester 2 year 1 this 0CP module will develop knowledge relevant to practical chemistry taught in CHEM1056 and provide a grade for inclusion in their single CHEM theory module.

Students will be introduced to the topic of the module in a workshop and additional sessions will be focused on literature reviewing methodology and presentation techniques.
