Module overview

This module presents a critical, interdisciplinary analysis of crime and criminality, requiring students to research beyond official understandings of 'criminal behaviour'. The module considers the behavioural, situational and cultural aspects of criminality, looking at the causes, classification and realities of particular forms of crime. Students will be required to examine established and emergent theories regarding criminal behaviour within the context of rapid socio-cultural and technological changes.
