Module overview

Sale of goods is a crucial area of commercial law and has been codified in the Sale of Goods Act and the Consumer Rights Act. This module covers the law of sale of goods and lays the foundation for further studies in commercial and consumer law, introducing students to advanced rules and applications of contract law.

The objective of the module is thus to give students a good grounding in the main principles of the key components of sales law and related regulation. The module aims to build on skills and knowledge which will already have been acquired during the study of other subjects, in particular, contract and property law.
