- identify, compare and evaluate appropriate research approaches and strategies;
- identify, collect and analyse appropriate data, both primary and secondary;
- integrate theoretical concepts developed throughout your undergraduate learning programme and managerial practice.
- conduct an extended investigation including generating primary data;
- critically evaluate the chosen research strategy, highlighting reliability, validity and limitations, and identify opportunities for further research;
- justify the selection of a chosen topic;
- critically evaluate the data collected in the context of existing studies;

- current research related to chosen topic.

Syllabus
There is no set pattern of study; you proceed at your own pace with your personal supervisor. However, it is anticipated that the following topics will feature:
- Selecting and developing your topic;
- Research questions, aims and objectives;
- Research paradigms and consequent research strategies and methodologies;
- Identifying, collecting, evaluating and analysing secondary data;
- Identifying, collecting and analysing primary data;
- Linking research outcomes to current theory and practice;
- Effective communication documents.
